That means we're great at farming gold in story mode and it also means we can improve our survivability by running and dodging enemy attacks. Luckily we have a second strength: we're fast. No way around that, the other classes can absorb a lot more, BHs are the real Glass Cannon class.
You will at some point reach trials where you still do enough damage to complete the trial in 10 minutes, but just die too often to actually win. For 95% of the successful BHs, Snipe is the ability you need. There are some other builds around Demo set and Sticky Bombs, but they are definitely not newcomer-friendly (you need a lot of Glory to get started) and difficult to play well. Don't go toe to toe unless you're really OP for the level. Frozen trap and snipe for bosses, and use your speed to run in, use skills and run out.I like scattershot as a primary skill, and look for a few pieces of Assault Gear, which doubles your arrows (and damage!).These are great (also, hero skills are cheaper during events, so if you plan to make another hero this is a good time) You can make a super powered set once you've hit 70. Just create them without gems for your first set (again, focus on EXP and the others above). Jewelry: probably create a new set every 10-15 levels. (Trials 1-7 correspond roughly to 10 levels, then just run whatever you can) For gear, run the optional island in the first world when you have keys, and trials when you are at 10, 20, etc.
Other desirable attributes in gear and stones beyond exp: Haste, Power, Critical hit %, Life on hit, Critical damage. Buy from the store if you have the gold (don't spend gemstones). Spec for as much experience as you can while staying alive. Use them in Gear where you can pull them back out Don't spend gemstones opening chests beyond the first 2-3 (<15 gems).
