In the download, I chose ONLY the virus scan software, yet this morning I log on and it's shut down my windows firewall and replaced it with its own!!! Once again, I try to open the darned icon in the bottom tray by right clicking and a McCafee box pops up with nothing, NADA in it, nor does it want to go away. It then scanned my system, and I went to bed. Ctr 8 - which HUNG and had to be re-downloaded. I followed all instructions, and downloaded Sec. I am trying to re-install the security center because the old one refused to open, took over my system any time it wanted without alerting me it was downloading, and would not open from the icon in my tool tray by a right click, a left click or a kick in the patoooty.
